| Additional Points | Additional bonus points can be gained only under the | ||||||||

| 1 | The team batting first is dismissed for a score | ||||||||
| less than 120 runs in their 35 over innings or | |||||||||
| (in a reduced overs match, less than 3 runns per over) | |||||||||
| and | |||||||||
| 2 | The team batting second wins the game by 6 | ||||||||
| wickets or better. (i.e. Victory is achieved for | |||||||||
| the loss of 4 or less wickets.) | |||||||||
| Should the team batting first not be dismissed before | |||||||||
| the end of their innings, no additional bonus points are | |||||||||
| available to the team batting second. | |||||||||
| In the circumstances detailed above, the following shall apply: | |||||||||
| One bonus point is awarded for every ball that a team | |||||||||
| batting second does not face when it surpasses the | |||||||||
| target and the above criteria is achieved. | |||||||||
| Example: | |||||||||
| Team batting first is dismissed for 80 runs in a | |||||||||
| 35 over match. | |||||||||
| Team batting second wins the game by | |||||||||
| scoring 81 runs in a 15.3 overs for the loss of | |||||||||
| 4 wickets | |||||||||
| 19 overs and 3 balls have not been faced by | |||||||||
| the team batting second, a total of 117 balls. | |||||||||
| 117 bouns points will be awarded to the team | |||||||||
| batting second. | |||||||||
